A pilgrimage to Spain

Eduardo Bonnin
Some may wonder what happens when the National Cursillo Movement takes a
pilgrimage to Spain. The answer is, first and foremost, you would get to meet Eduardo Bonnin (picture attached). He has written 7 or 8 books about Cursillo and is the only survivor of the seven founders. If you were to  ask him how to keep Cursillo vibrant, he would answer "KEEP IT SIMPLE". He
feels that frills only distract from the true purpose of the weekend.

Then too, you would get to see the house where the first Cursillo was planned. You may even notice additions that were not available when the first Cursillo took place.

Church for the First Cursillo
Then too, you would get to see the  church where the first Cursillo took place. You would attend mass every day in a different, unique cathedral or church, visit monasteries and convents, hear boys choirs and nuns sing, take a boat ride along the northern coast, take a train ride through the mountains, stay in nice hotels, eat well, and take  bus tours and see many of the standard tourist attractions.
In all, you would have visited Mallorca, an island in the Mediterranean to
the southwest, Santiago de Compestela, the burial place of St. James in the northeast, and Madrid in the central plains. You would wonder how they had arranged so much for such a reasonable cost. Sound interesting? They are
planning on doing it again next fall!
