Responsibilities of a Cursillo Sponsor
- Make a friend - Be a friend - Bring a friend to Christ
- Know the candidate and pray for direction from the Holy Spirit
- Know the Charism of the Cursillo Movement
- Saving Souls
- Providing Christian Community
- Be living out the Fourth Day as Jesus intends
- Be able to give witness to an authentic Christian life
- Prepare the candidate for the weekend encounter with Christ
- Assist in the transition to an active Fourth Day for the candidate after the weekend
- Provide the PreCursillo section of Secretariat with completed candidate and sponsor applications.
