Responsibilities of a Cursillo Sponsor

• Make a freind - Be a friend - Bring a friend to Christ.

• Know the candidate and pray for direction from the Holy Spirit

• Know the Charism of the Cursillo Movement

             - Saving Souls through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ

             - Providing Christian Community

• Be living out the Fourth Day as Jesus intends

• Be able to give witness to an authentic Christian life

• Prepare the candidate for the weekend encounter with Christ

• Assist in the transition to an active Fourth Day for the candidate after the weekend

• Provide the PreCursillo section of Secretariat with completed candidate and sponsor applications.
